Bayer Leverkusen winger Sidney Sam is heading for the BayArena exit door in the summer, with Schalke having joined the race for the Germany international.
Sam is a wanted man and will have a number of options if he quits Sami Hyypia's men, with Liverpool leading the charge from England, and Wolfsburg German admirers.
A clause in the winger's contract, which means he can leave in the summer for just €2.5m, has made him a very attractive proposition for several clubs.
And according to German daily Bild, Sam is likely to leave Leverkusen at the end of the season, with Schalke having emerged as his latest suitors.

Determined not to be caught out, Leverkusen have already signed a player who could prove to be Sam's replacement on the wing.
17-year-old Julian Brandt, currently on the books at Wolfsburg, has agreed to join Leverkusen when his contract expires in the summer.
The capture of Brandt has been seen as a real coup for Leverkusen as the winger was also wanted by Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
