Spanish sides Real Betis and Valencia are alive to the situation of striker Iago Aspas at Liverpool, as the player's agent prepares to hold talks with the English outfit about his client's future.
Aspas landed at Liverpool this summer from Celta Vigo, but has struggled to force his way into the side's starting eleven and has seen his performances underwhelm, something which led the striker to vow to improve.
Now, according to Valencia-based daily Estadio Deportivo, Real Betis and Valencia both smell a potential opportunity to lure Aspas back to Spain in the quickly approaching January transfer window.
Betis however have concerns over the salary Aspas might demand, however are continuing to monitor the situation.

All eyes are now on Aspas' agent Jose Rodriguez, who is due to hold talks with Liverpool in the middle of this month, to discuss their plans for his client.
Last term the 26-year-old found the back of the net 12 times in 34 La Liga games for Celta Vigo.
This season he has made just seven appearances in the Premier League for the Reds, with three coming from the bench.
