Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has declared his door is always open for Lionel Messi to discuss a new contract.
Despite Messi's current deal at the Camp Nou running until the summer of 2018, a new deal has recently been mooted for the Argentine.
And Rosell would have no problem negotiating a fresh contract with Messi, ensuring he is the best-paid player in world football.
Indeed, the Barcelona president believes the 26-year-old deserves that much.

"I have not spoken to him", Rosell told RAC 1.
"But my office door is always open because Messi should be the highest paid player in the world.
"That's because he is the best player in the world."
Messi is currently out of action through injury and is recovering in his native Argentina.
He is expected to be back in Barcelona action in January.
