Up and coming Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi is building up a veritable fan club, with Chelsea and Manchester United monitoring his progress ahead of a potential summer swoop.

Berardi recently brought about the sacking of Massimiliano Allegri from his job as AC Milan coach as he hit four goals for Sassuolo to help them to a 4-3 win in Serie A over the Rossoneri.

The 19-year-old's goal blitz saw him become the youngest player for 80 years to score four goals in a Serie A game.

And his progress at Sassuolo has not gone unnoticed, with Chelsea and Manchester United keen. The latter's interest is more long standing, with scouts first being sent to watch Berardi in 2012.

The young Italian marksman is co-owned by Sassuolo and Serie A champions Juventus, but the Bianconeri's director general Giuseppe Marotta has already insisted a return to Turin for Berardi in the summer is not set in stone.

The 19-year-old has bagged eleven goals in 15 Serie A matches for Sassuolo this season, spearheading the minnows' bid to survive in the Italian top flight this term.
