Roma coach Rudi Garcia has brushed off comments from Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc about Miralem Pjanic.

Blanc, who is in the market to add a new midfielder to his ranks this month, raised the prospect of moving for Pjanic as an alternative to Yohan Cabaye.

Garcia, even though aware of PSG's financial firepower, has done his best to brush off the comments though.

"We're all responsible for our words. I am for mine", Garcia said at a press conference when asked about Blanc's remarks on Pjanic.

"I'm pleased with what the club have said", he added, referring to a Giallorossi statement denying any negotiations with PSG have taken place over the midfielder.

Nevertheless, Pjanic is known to be happy with interest from PSG.

Told about being on the French champions' wishlist, Pjanic replied: "It's flattering. I'm happy to hear it."
