A departure this month from Manchester United for Shinji Kagawa has been ruled out by the player's agent.
Kagawa has been linked with the Old Trafford exit door in recent weeks and the signing of Juan Mata by the Red Devils could impact further on the Japan international's playing time.

Borussia Dortmund, the club Kagawa left to join Manchester United in 2012, remain keen on tempting back their former star. But they will have to wait, at least a little longer, with agent Thomas Kroth ruling out a move for Kagawa despite Dortmund talk.
"Shinji will not leave Manchester United in January", he told Kicker.

Kagawa has managed just nine appearances in the Premier League for Manchester United so far this season, providing only a single assist.
His contract at Old Trafford runs until the summer of 2016.
