Manchester United are in contact with Inter Milan over a loan for Nani, despite also seeing Juventus make their interest clear.

The Old Lady were eyeing a lucrative deal for Nani for this summer, but, according to Sky Italia, Inter have jumped at that to go in for a quick loan.

That offer would then materialise into a permanent move in the summer, even though the Portuguese signed a long-term extension last year.

Walter Mazzarri's side have already established contact with Manchester United, and they must now wait for the player's wishes to be known.

He was tipped to leave last summer as well, with Monaco heavily linked, but manager David Moyes kept faith in him back then.

However, he has been used sparingly and a hamstring injury proved an even bigger setback to furthering his Old Trafford career.

It means Nani has played just eight times in the Premier League, though he did help Portugal reach the World Cup via their hard-fought playoff win over Sweden.

Inter have been eager to reinforce in attack, especially after seeing Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic slip through their grasp.
