Andres Iniesta is adamant his club captain Carles Puyol will not leave Barcelona anytime soon, as speculation mounts over a summer exit.
Puyol was yesterday linked with ending his time at Barcelona owing to an injury-marred season with just four La Liga appearances.

It is believed the Spaniard is unable to handle the workload of playing for a club competing in so many competitions, as Barcelona aim for their treble.
Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino had himself denied the initial rumours back in mid-December and Iniesta has now added his own voice to the situation.

"I’m convinced that he won’t leave", Iniesta was quoted by his club website as saying.
"I’ve known him for a very long time and we’ve shared many extremely good things over the years and other things that haven’t been as good.
"Having him in the dressing room gives us security. I hope he stays."
