Injury plagued Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has not given up hope of heading to the World Cup in Brazil with France.

Diaby has been consistently troubled by knee injuries and is currently on the comeback trail from a cruciate ligament blow, not having managed a single appearance for the Gunners so far this term.

However, that has not caused the Frenchman to abandon his World Cup dream and he is still hoping that Didier Deschamps will include him in the France squad to travel to Brazil. Now Diaby is targeting a comeback for the Gunners to aid that dream.

"I'm working hard because I know that I'll play", he told France Football.
