Newcastle United centre-back Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa is of interest to Ligue 1 side Lille.
The Magpies are willing to cash in on the former Montpellier defender, following a series of lacklustre performances this season as part of a leaky Newcastle defence.
Yanga-Mbiwa joined Newcastle in January 2013 with a substantial reputation, burnished in French football and boosted by helping Montpellier win the Ligue 1 title in 2012.
However, he is now likely to head back to France this summer.

According to French outlet Mercato 365, Yanga-Mbiwa is of interest to Lille, who are coached by former Montpellier boss Rene Girard, a firm fan of the 25-year-old.
Lille finished third in Ligue 1 this season, behind Monaco and champions Paris Saint-Germain.
