Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa is poised to leave Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
Yanga-Mbiwa joined the Magpies in the 2013 January transfer window, moving from Montpellier, who he had helped to a surprise 2012 Ligue 1 title triumph.
According to French outlet Mercato 365, Magpies boss Alan Pardew has decided to sell Yanga-Mbiwa this summer, but the defender may not be the only French-speaking departure from St. James' Park.
Also available for transfer are Sylvain Marveaux, Hatem Ben Arfa, Gabriel Obertan and Massaido Haidara.

Yanga-Mbiwa's contract with Newcastle is due to run until the summer of 2018, but with stock which remains high in France, there are likely to be no shortage of suitors willing to end his Tyneside adventure.
The 25-year-old made 23 appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this season and saw his performances heavily criticised at points throughout the campaign.
