Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is determined to sell Romelu Lukaku this summer and Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on taking advantage.

Lukaku has spent the last two seasons on loan away from Chelsea and his relationship with Mourinho has been strained. The Portuguese boss regularly had to field questions last term over why he loaned the Belgian to Everton when his strikeforce of Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba were misfiring.

Now, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, Mourinho is preparing to cash in on Lukaku and has urged the Chelsea board to realise the highest possible price for the former Anderlecht man.

At present there are three leading options for Lukaku.

In the Premier League, both Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to give the striker a home and have already make discreet enquiries, while in Spain, Atletico Madrid are keen.

And it is the Champions League finalists who have the advantage, as Mourinho does not want Lukaku to be sold to a rival Premier League club.

That puts the Portuguese at odds with Lukaku, who favours a stay in England.

More clubs could yet come forward for Lukaku however, who would put himself in the shop window with a series of good displays for Belgium in the World Cup.
