Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini has predicted that the Black Cats will be very active in the transfer market this summer and reaffirmed his commitment to the club.
Giaccherini joined Sunderland last year from Italian champions Juventus, the Italy international finding himself thrust into a battle to keep the club in the Premier League almost from the off.
Sunderland succeeded in maintaining their Premier League status, but Giaccherini missed out on a spot in Italy's World Cup squad, leading to suggestions he might return to home to push to regain his place.
But the midfielder is not prepared to leave the Stadium of Light, telling Tutto Mercato: "I have another three years left on my contract.
"I am very happy and I will definitely stay at Sunderland."

Giaccherini also feels Sunderland will and are shaking matters up in the transfer market in preparation for the new campaign.
"We will wait to see the team that we have, surely there will be a lot of work in the transfer market."
Giaccherini, who started his career at Cesena, has won 18 caps for Italy, scoring three goals.
