Goalkeeper Willy Caballero is edging towards the exit door at Malaga, with Arsenal and Manchester City leading the race for the shot-stopper.
According to Spanish daily Marca, both Arsenal and Manchester City are ready to pay at least €7m to sign the Malaga custodian.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is on the lookout for a new goalkeeper following the departures this summer of Italian Emiliano Viviano and Pole Lukasz Fabianski.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini meanwhile rates Caballero highly, having bossed him at Malaga before switching to the Etihad Stadium last summer.
The 32-year-old joined Malaga at the start of 2011 and quickly established himself between the sticks at the Spanish side.
