Arturo Vidal is interested in a potential move to Manchester United this summer, if the English giants can thrash out a fee with Juventus.

The midfielder recently ended his World Cup campaign, following Chile's elimination from the tournament at the hands of Brazil on penalties, and is now giving careful thought to his future at club level.

Manchester United are known to be interested in Vidal, with the club's new manager Louis van Gaal admitting he tried to sign the player during his time as Bayern Munich boss.

And according to Italian daily Tuttosport, Vidal has decided that he would be open to a switch to Old Trafford, if Juventus accept a bid from the dethroned 2013 English champions.

Juventus however are not keen on releasing Vidal, viewing the former Bayer Leverkusen man as a vital part of their engine room.

It remains to be seen if Manchester United are willing to offer a sum which turns the Italian side's head, or whether Juventus use the opportunity to demand players in part-exchange.

The Bianconeri have a long-standing interest in Patrice Evra and Nani.
