Juventus are open to selling Arturo Vidal to Manchester United to finance a move to sign Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona.

Sanchez has been consistently been linked with a move to Juventus this summer and it is believed personal terms have been agreed between the player and the Italian champions.

However, the Bianconeri are not able to cobble together more than €20m for the Chilean and Barcelona have slapped a minimum €30m asking price on his head.

On the other hand, Manchester United are looking to add one more quality midfielder to their ranks and their manager, Louis van Gaal, is keen on Sanchez’s Chilean team-mate Vidal, a player he tried to buy during his time at Bayern Munich.

Vidal and Sanchez have the same agent, Fernando Felicevich, and Juventus have indicated to him that they are willing to sell the midfielder to finance the deal for the Barcelona forward, according to Catalan-based daily Sport.

Sanchez has also been linked with a move to Liverpool as part of Barcelona’s proposal for Luis Suarez and Arsenal are also in the running for him.

However, the Chilean forward is believed to be more interested in a move back to Italy with Juventus.

Vidal has also been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but it emerged earlier this week that he is open to a move to Manchester United, even though they won’t play in Europe next season.

Felicevich has a job on his hands however and it remains to be seen whether he can engineer both deals, which would please his Chilean clients.
