Juventus have hinted at a possible softening of their stance on midfielder Arturo Vidal, by revealing that the wishes of the player will be crucial to determining whether he stays.
Vidal has been chased by Manchester United throughout the summer, but Juventus have been clear in adopting a no-sale stance, which they reaffirmed recently upon the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri as their new coach.
The Chile international is due back in Turin in the near future following his extended holiday due to his World Cup efforts.
Vidal has promised to assess his future upon his return, amid talk Manchester United are prepared to offer him lucrative personal terms to move to Old Trafford; further fuel has also been added to the transfer talk fire by the player putting his house up for sale recently.
And Juventus director Pavel Nedved has dropped a hint that a Vidal departure is not off the table this summer, especially if the player makes it clear he wants to leave.

"Vidal is a strong point for Juventus. In fact, just as with Paul Pogba, we have no intention of selling him", Nedved was quoted as saying by Tuttosport, sticking to the party line.
He added however: "But in cases like this, what is almost always crucial, if not decisive, is the will of the players.
"We are ready to do everything to retain Vidal, unless the player notifies us of not wanting to stay longer.
"And likewise, if we are presented with an offer that is so extraordinary as to put ourselves in a position to assess it calmly."
Manchester United are thought to be ready to offer Vidal a yearly salary of €6.7m to move to England and join Louis van Gaal's revolution.
