Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has sought to firmly close the door on a departure for Manchester United target Arturo Vidal.
The Chile midfielder has been chased by the Red Devils, with the club's manager Louis van Gaal a big fan of a player he tried to buy while in charge of Bayern Munich.
Vidal last night explained he will talk to the Bianconeri on Monday over his future, while claiming he feels good in Turin, and Marotta is clear that the player will not be leaving the Italian champions.
Speaking at the presentation of Roberto Pereyra as a Juventus player, Marotta was asked about Vidal, and replied: "In the last year he renewed his contract with Juventus.
"He is happy here and from his part he intends to stay: he's happy.

"Vidal is not for sale."
However, there could still be a window of light for Vidal's suitors, with Juventus director Pavel Nedved having suggested if the midfielder is desperate to leave, the club will not hold on to him.
"Vidal is a strong point for Juventus. In fact, just as with Paul Pogba, we have no intention of selling him", the Czech said.
"But in cases like this, what is almost always crucial, if not decisive, is the will of the players.
"We are ready to do everything to retain Vidal, unless the player notifies us of not wanting to stay longer.
"And likewise, if we are presented with an offer that is so extraordinary as to put ourselves in a position to assess it calmly."
