Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is eyeing a move for Atletico Madrid centre-back Diego Godin, but the Uruguayan is in no rush to leave the Vicente Calderon.

Mourinho is a firm fan of Godin, having taken a close look at his talents during his time in charge of Real Madrid and also last season when Chelsea locked horns with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

According to Uruguayan outlet Ovacion, the Portuguese tactician is firmly on Godin's tail and hoping to tempt him to Stamford Bridge.

But the 28-year-old is content at Atletico Madrid, who he helped to the Spanish title last term, and is in no rush to quit the club.

Atletico Madrid snapped Godin up from fellow Spanish side Villarreal in 2010, paying around €8m for his services.
