The next week will be crucial in determining the future of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, with the player's agent poised to arrive in Italy amid strong interest in his client from Manchester United.
Vidal is wanted by the English giants, whose manager Louis van Gaal is a confirmed admirer of his talents and admits to having tried to buy him during his time in charge of Bayern Munich.
A substantial bid has been mooted as being prepared at Old Trafford, but Juventus have publicly insisted they want to keep hold of Vidal, who they claim is happy in Turin.
However, according to reports from Italy, Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich is due in the country imminently, with talks over his client's future top of the agenda.
Vidal has himself admitted that discussions will be held with the Bianconeri, with it at present being impossible to confirm whether he will still be at the club when the transfer window shuts this summer.

The Chile midfielder explained: "I do not know if I will stay.
"I will speak with the coach and the club to decide what to do", Vidal added.
While Juventus have publicly insisted they wish to keep Vidal, the door has been held slightly open for a U-turn, with club director Pavel Nedved suggesting if the midfielder demands a move, he will see those demands met.
"Vidal is a strong point for Juventus. In fact, just as with Paul Pogba, we have no intention of selling him", Nedved said.
"But in cases like this, what is almost always crucial, if not decisive, is the will of the players.
"We are ready to do everything to retain Vidal, unless the player notifies us of not wanting to stay longer."
