Arturo Vidal is standing ready to join Manchester United and already has a verbal agreement with the English giants, according to a source close to the Juventus midfielder.
Manchester United are pushing to snap up Vidal, with Juventus attempting to resist at every turn. Nevertheless, the next week is viewed as crucial following the arrival of Vidal's agent in Italy and the player's insistence that talks be held with the club over his future.
And while Vidal will respect Juventus, where he has a contract which runs until 2017, he has his heart set on Manchester United, having already informed his agent of his desire, the source has explained.
"Arturo wants to go to Manchester United and has said that to his representative already", the source was quoted as saying by Chilean daily El Mercurio.
"They have even spoken to the English and have a verbal agreement", he added, before stressing that Vidal will continue to respect whatever Juventus opt to do.

"Even though [he wants to move], Arturo will very much respect what Juventus decide. He is very grateful and respects what his team say", the source concluded.
Manchester United are thought to have already prepared a lucrative contract for the Chile international, which would see him take home around €13m per season if he heads to Old Trafford.
Doing a deal with Juventus may be tricky for Louis van Gaal's men though, as the Italian champions continue to adopt a public no-sale stance on the former Bayer Leverkusen man.
However, of late there have been signs of a softening of the stance in Turin, with club director Pavel Nedved claiming Vidal will have the final say over his future.
Juventus are also looking towards Inter's Fredy Guarin as a potential replacement for the Chile star.
