Leeds United president Massimo Cellino has not given up on taking Brazilian sensation Adryan to Elland Road this summer.

Cellino was instrumental in doing the deal which took Adryan from Flamengo to Cagliari earlier this year on a loan with purchase option agreement, during his time as owner of the Serie A outfit.

Now Leeds owner and president, Cellino has not forgotten Adryan and desperately wants to take the Brazil Under-20 international to England.

Adryan is not convinced about the move and Cagliari have thrown him the number 10 shirt this season in a sign he is viewed as an important player by coach Zdenek Zemen.

But according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Cellino is still looking at ways to sign the attacking midfielder, who rejected an offer from Manchester United in 2011.

The Leeds president is prepared to pull out all the stops to sign Adryan, with the ball now in Cagliari's court to demonstrate his importance to their project and ensure the English club cannot steal in to capture the starlet.

Adryan could manage just five appearances in Serie A for Cagliari last season, seeing his campaign cut short by injury.
