Joel Campbell admits he is working hard to be handed a chance to turn out for Arsenal by Arsene Wenger this season.
Campbell spent last season on loan at Olympiacos in Greece and then impressed in the World Cup with Costa Rica, reaching the quarter-finals.
He soon had clubs chasing his services, including Italian giants AC Milan and Portuguese outfit Benfica.
But Wenger ensured Campbell would stay and now the forward is hoping the Frenchman allows him minutes on the pitch for the Gunners.
Speaking after last night's 2-2 draw with Panama, Campbell told reporters: "I know you have to work hard to get a chance [at Arsenal].

"My personal hope is to be able to play.
"I work just like any team-mate. I've got to take the minutes I get to play."
With Olivier Giroud sidelined through injury until the new year, Campbell will be aiming to provide competition for new Arsenal signing Danny Welbeck up front at the Emirates Stadium.
