Xherdan Shaqiri's agent admits his client is in a "difficult situation" at Bayern Munich, but has expressed his doubt over whether a January transfer is feasible.
The Swiss star was open to leaving Bayern Munich in the summer due to concerns at a lack of playing time and trust at the Allianz Arena.
The German champions blocked his sale, but now the situation appears to have changed, with the suggestion that Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola does not feel the 23-year-old can adapt to the demands of his system.
Now a whole host of summer suitors, including Liverpool, are on high alert.

Ulisse Savini, an agent credited as representing Shaqiri, said on Italian radio station Centro Suono Sport: "It is a difficult situation right now.
"I doubt he can switch in January.
"He has played in the Champions League and cannot be used there [by another club].
"This complicates the agreement, since it would be for a lot of money.
"And I doubt that Bayern can find a replacement of his level."
