Tottenham Hotspur are taking a keen interest in Lazio target Aidan Friggieri after a potential move to Rome hit the rocks.
The 16-year-old talent currently turns out in his homeland of Malta with local club Sliema Wanderers.
Friggieri was spotted by Lazio, who moved quickly in an attempt to run the rule over him and set up a potential switch to Italy.
But according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, a proposed move for Friggieri has come a cropper and now Spurs are eyeing taking advantage.

Tottenham are now firmly tracking the forward, however at present they believe a switch to England could be too much too soon for Friggieri, due to his slender frame.
Nevertheless, the White Hart Lane outfit are standing by to launch a swoop if Friggieri appears close to joining another club.
