Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn is not downbeat ahead of his side's Championship clash against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.

Redfearn's men were held to a 1-1 home draw against Birmingham City yesterday and continue to languish in the lower reaches of the Championship, sitting 20th with 26 points from 26 games.

By contrast Bournemouth are in superb form and top the table with 51 points from 26 games. The Cherries recorded a comfortable 2-0 win away at Rotherham United yesterday.

But Redfearn, fully aware that Bournemouth have lost only once in their last 12 games, feels they are due a defeat.

"It is a big game", the Leeds boss admitted to LUTV.

"Every game is a big home game since I've been here to be fair, but we're playing with spirit, you can see that.

"It will be a great game because Bournemouth are riding high, but they are due a loss", Redfearn added.

Leeds have already beaten Bournemouth this season under Redfearn, triumphing during the boss' caretaker stint with a 3-1 win at Dean Court in September.
