AC Milan are holding talks with the representative of Newcastle United midfielder Olivier Kemen as they bid to insert themselves into the chase for his signature.
Kemen has never played a senior game for the Magpies, but is a highly rated midfielder who has been tipped for the top and captains France's Under-19 side.
He is being chased by a number of clubs, a group that includes Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
Now AC Milan are involved in the chase, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, and are holding talks with the player's agent.
