Roma attacking midfielder Adem Ljajic could be on the verge of moving to Premier League side Aston Villa.
The Giallorossi are looking to offload the 23-year-old and the club's sporting director Walter Sabatini has been in England to drum up interest.
According to Sky Italia, Sabatini has been talking to Aston Villa, who are keen on signing the Serbia international before the transfer window closes.
Roma are now locked in talks with Aston Villa over Ljajic in an attempt to find an agreement which is suitable for both parties.
Ljajic nearly moved to England from his first club Partizan Belgrade when an agreement was reached to sell him to Manchester United.
