Louis van Gaal is delighted with his Manchester United side's 3-0 win over Ipswich Town in the League Cup this evening, dubbing himself a "happy coach".
Manchester United took the lead with 23 minutes on the clock at Old Trafford and it was Wayne Rooney who came up with the goods, the striker finding space and making no mistake with a left-footed shot.
The Red Devils were in control, but had to wait until the hour mark to score their second goal.
The man who came up with the goods was Andreas Pereira, who curled home a free-kick from around 20 yards out, whipping it into the corner of the net.
The win was then sealed after substitute Anthony Martial scored at the death, securing a 3-0 win over the Championship side.

Manchester United have drawn Middlesbrough in the fourth round and Van Gaal admits it will be a step into the dark for him as he knows little about the Championship outfit.
"It is a top club in the Championship. I don’t know much about them.
"The scout shall analyse the opponents like he did with Ipswich. It is one of the top clubs so it is not so easy.
