Luciano Becchio's agent wants his client to be playing for Leeds United in January and is set to request a meeting with the Whites, according to the Press Association.
The Argentine, who is a fan favourite due to a prior spell at Elland Road which yielded 86 goals, has recently been linked with returning to the club.
Becchio was spotted in Leeds, something which sparked further talk that he is set to rejoin the Whites.
But Leeds boss Steve Evans recently played down talk that the club are looking to bring Becchio in, though he did admit to having a good personal relationship with the Argentine and would be happy to have coffee with the striker.
Now Becchio's agent has let it be known that his client would love to return to Leeds in the winter transfer window.

And the agent is set to request a meeting with Leeds to discuss his client once again pulling on a white shirt.
Leeds are looking to add to their striking options, but Evans is targeting an immediate addition, using the emergency loan window.
It remains to be seen whether the Whites will be willing to discuss a potential return for Becchio.
