Rangers right-back James Tavernier feels fully prepared for his side's Scottish Championship fixture this weekend against Alloa.

The Gers went down to their first league defeat of the season last weekend away at Hibernian, seeing their lead at the top of the Championship table cut to just five points. And they are desperate to bounce back when bottom club Alloa come calling.

Tavernier was at Rangers' training this morning and has reported a good session as he prepares to be involved against Alloa at Ibrox.

The rampaging right-back posted a photograph of himself in action in training on Twitter.

And he wrote: "Good day training, Preparation starts now for tomorrow's game."

Rangers had gone into the Hibernian game having won eleven out of eleven matches in the Championship, but suffered the pain of defeat at Easter Road.

Mark Warburton's men have locked horns with Alloa already this season, running out comfortable 5-1 winners in a game in which Tavernier scored the first goal.
