Rangers had gone into the Hibernian game having won eleven out of eleven matches in the Championship, but suffered the pain of defeat at Easter Road.

Mark Warburton's men have locked horns with Alloa already this season, running out comfortable 5-1 winners in a game in which Tavernier scored the first goal.
