Leeds United head coach Steve Evans has hailed the club's chairman Massimo Cellino as "outstanding" and is aiming to deliver on his side of a bargain made with the Italian when he took charge in October.
Evans was brought in to replace Uwe Rosler as Cellino worried about Leeds being dragged into a relegation battle in the Championship.
At the time, Evans made a deal with Cellino where the Italian agreed if the Scot could have the Whites within six points of the playoffs going into the winter transfer window, he would back him to bring in reinforcements.
Leeds are in action later today away at Nottingham Forest and can close the gap to a playoff place to five points with a win.
Evans sees no reason to doubt Cellino making good on his word and has hailed the Italian.
