Arsenal linked midfielder Riechedly Bazoer has claimed that Barcelona are keeping a close watch on him and have conveyed their interest to his agent.
The 19-year-old Ajax midfielder has been garnering praise for his performances in Dutch football and a number of top clubs across Europe are said to have been keeping a close eye on him for the past few months.
Arsenal are one of those who are monitoring his progress in the Netherlands, but clubs such as Bayern Munich and Manchester City are also believed to be on the trail of the highly talented young midfielder from Ajax.
However, Bazoer has revealed that even Barcelona are monitoring his performances closely and have spoken to his agent about their interest in signing him in the near future.
The 19-year-old told Dutch magazine Voetbal International: “I am not secretive about it.

“Two months ago they spoke to my brother, who is also my agent, and informed him about their interest.
"Marc Overmars [Ajax’s director of football] also knows about. They watch my games and are keeping an eye on me.
“I just have to make sure that I pull in the same direction, like last season, and who knows something beautiful might be on the cards.”
Despite his tender years, Bazoer has continued to remain a regular in the Ajax first eleven and already has 24 appearances under his belt this season in all competitions.
