Leeds United have accepted an offer from West Ham United for right-back Sam Byram with the ball now in the player's court to choose between the Hammers and Everton.

Everton have already had an offer for the 22-year-old accepted by Leeds and Byram held talks with the Toffees over the weekend.

However, West Ham have continued to linger and according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, they have now also had an offer accepted.

The ball is in Byram's court to decide his next move and West Ham are in pole position to win the race for his signature.

The defender, who can also operate in an advanced position, is out of contract with Leeds at the end of the season and has rejected attempts to convince him to sign a new deal.
