Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti is one of a number of players being tracked by Tottenham Hotspur, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed.
The 22-year-old centre-back is highly rated within France and progressed through the youth system at Lyon to establish himself as a first team regular.
Spurs monitor the French market keenly and Pochettino, who turned out for two French clubs during his playing career, admits Umtiti is on his side's radar.
Speaking to French radio station RMC, Pochettino was asked about the Cameroon born defender and replied: "He is one of a group of interesting players who have potential.
"He might come to the Premier League", the Argentine admitted.

"He is in the group of players that our recruitment department follow.
"We have reports on several French players."
Spurs currently have a solid backline with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld forming a fearsome defensive partnership, while Kevin Wimmer acts as a backup option.
Umtiti has represented France at numerous youth levels, going from the country's Under-17s to their Under-21s.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will look to raid Les Gones for the 22-year-old defender in the summer transfer window.
