As many as five Rangers players have been named in the Scottish PFA Championship Team of the Year for the 2015/16 season.

Rangers captain and the club’s Player of the Year Lee Wallace has found a place in the team, along with his full-back partner James Tavernier, who bagged the club’s Goal of the Season award this year too.

Midfielder Jason Holt and the club’s Young Player of the Year Barrie McKay have also found a place in the team alongside club’s top goalscorer Martyn Waghorn, who bagged the Players’ Player of the Year award at Ibrox this season.

The five players have played an immense role in Rangers winning the Scottish Championship and earning promotion to the Premiership, and could still add one more trophy to their locker when they take on Hibernian in the Scottish Cup final next month.

Falkirk’s Danny Rogers, Peter Grant and John Baird and Hibernian’s Darren McGregor, John McGinn and Jason Cummings make up the rest of the team.
