Celtic new boy Scott Sinclair has hailed the fans for their amazing support during the entire course of the match against Motherwell earlier this week.

The club's latest signing was on target as his side drubbed Mark McGhee's men 5-0 in Wednesday's Scottish League Cup match at Celtic Park.

The 27-year-old on his part was overwhelmed by the response his team got from the fans, who were singing constantly and cheering them on during every moment of the match.

"Great result and team performance last night, happy to get another goal", Sinclair posted on his Instagram account.

The winger also took time to express his satisfaction at having been handed the Man of the Match award in his second ever game in a Celtic shirt.
