Leeds United striker Chris Wood feels Yannick Bolasie will "smash it" after he completed a move from Crystal Palace to Everton.

The speedy winger has cost the Toffees a fee of £25m to sign from the Selhurst Park outfit and has put pen to paper on a five-year deal to keep him at Goodison Park until the summer of 2021.

Wood knows Bolasie's talents well, having enjoyed a brief spell playing alongside the winger at Bristol City in 2012.

And the Leeds striker is convinced that his former team-mate will be a success under Ronald Koeman at Everton.

"Well deserved move bro! Yannick Bolasie will smash it there!" the New Zealand international wrote on Twitter, directing his message to the winger.
