Former Juventus star Pavel Nedved says that the only reason Zlatan Ibrahimovic is such a prolific goalscorer is due to the work Fabio Capello put in with him on the training pitch.
Nedved played alongside Ibrahimovic for the Turin giants, joining Juventus in 2001 from Lazio, while the Sweden international arrived in 2004, from Ajax.
The ex-Czech Republic star, who is now a vice-president at Juventus, insists that when Ibrahimovic joined from Ajax he had a problem hitting the back of the net.
But regular work on the training pitch by then Juventus boss Capello ironed out Ibrahimovic's issues, Nedved says.
After identifying Ibrahimovic as the best team-mate he has had, Nedved told Czech daily Idnes: "When he came to Juventus, he couldn’t finish.

"What you see today is mainly down to the fact Fabio Capello took him for a half-an-hour of shooting practice after every training session."
Ibrahimovic scored just 26 goals in 92 appearances in all competitions during the course of his two-season spell with Juventus.
He fared better at Inter, netting 66 times in 117 games.
The Swede's most prolific spell came recently, with a four-season stint at Paris Saint-Germain yielding 156 goals in 180 matches.
