Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keeping quiet over whether he was keen to take Julian Draxler to Anfield.
Draxler is set to leave Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in the upcoming winter transfer window and the Wolves are claimed to have now agreed a fee with Paris Saint-Germain, which could well bring the club €42m.
Liverpool were recently linked with making a move to bring Draxler in, but PSG have been quickest in the race and look to have done everything needed to secure the attacking midfielder.
At a press conference, Klopp was asked about Liverpool's interest in Draxler and if the midfielder was someone he would have wanted.
But the Liverpool manager is not prepared to discuss individual players.

"That's the same answer I always give – no comments on transfers or names", Klopp replied.
"So, nothing to say on something like this", he added.
Draxler moved from Schalke to Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015, but struggled to settle at the Volkswagen Arena.
The Germany international is a player Klopp is familiar with from his time managing in the Bundesliga.
