Napoli are considering making a play to sign Arsenal midfielder and West Ham target Jack Wilshere on a free transfer next summer.
The England midfielder’s contract with Arsenal expires at the end of the season and the two parties are yet to reach an agreement over a new deal.
Arsene Wenger has said that he will discuss the midfielder’s future with him towards the end of the month and there is still a possibility Wilshere could leave in January.
However, the midfielder remains an attractive option as a free transfer next summer and according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, the 25-year-old is on the radar of Napoli.
The Gli Azzurri are plotting ahead of the summer transfer window and the club are closely studying the option of signing the Englishman on a free transfer at the end of the season.
