Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has credited teamwork as the prime reason behind the Reds' run of three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League as the club's fans responded to his assesment on social media.

The Brazilian international has helped Liverpool secure victories over West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Brighton this season. Speaking to the club website he said: "Hopefully I will keep helping the team, it is a teamwork. I have my contribution, but I am not the main responsibility for the clean sheets."

The 25-year-old is now expected to stand between the sticks for Liverpool's next league fixture against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Twitter user and Reds fan Vintage Shaqiri opined that the club are 'truly blessed' to have him, with Marlon Villamor thanking manager Jurgen Klopp for signing him.

Sara Bloomfield is clearly not a fan of sweeper 'keepers but she too has warmed up to the summer signing after seeing his 'cracking saves' so far.

On the other hand, Zak Vandalay is wondering whether Klopp will risk resting Alisson like he did with Simon Mignolet.

While My11Salah thinks his fellow fans may not even realise the number of points Alisson is going to save for the Reds, Sundren Naidoo was still raving about the 'cool' flick pulled off by the goalkeeper against Brighton.

Meanwhile, Jack Griffiths thinks it will be the goalkeeper who will win Liverpool the Premier League title this season and not the 'amazing front three'.
