Rangers fans have taken to social media to react to Kyle Lafferty scoring a brace in the Gers' 3-3 draw away at Motherwell on Sunday.

Lafferty, who has returned to Rangers on a two-year contract from Hearts, made his first start since his return to the Ibrox outfit and he did not disappoint as he helped his side to come back from a goal down twice inside the first half.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard lauded the striker's ability to find the net as he said: "That’s exactly why we brought him here. We knew he was capable of scoring important goals and a volume of goals in this league." Twitter user and Rangers fan Kelly 'loved' watching Lafferty during the game as William dreamt of goals against Celtic.

Fellow Rangers fan Davie was intially a doubter, but Lafferty's display has won him over as he hoped for a better future.

Brown Brogues believes the Scot will score achieve highest number of goals he has scored in a Rangers shirt this season, with James Tavernier and Borna Barisic providers.

While Devil Woman wished Lafferty scores another brace next Sunday against Celtic in the Old Firm derby, Cheryl feels 'great' to have him back for the Gers.

Meanwhile, Bryan Smetherhem appreciated the valiant effort, adding that he enjoyed the 30-year-old's display as he wished him the best for the Europa League playoffs tie against FC Ufa.
