Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has appeared to have been left shocked by Jose Mourinho’s words as footage from their training ground exchange this morning surfaced on Sky Sports News.
Mourinho confirmed reports last night that he has stripped Pogba of his vice-captaincy role at Manchester United as tensions continue to grow between the two.
The midfielder openly questioned the Manchester United manager’s tactics following the side's 1-1 draw with Wolves at Old Trafford and insisted that they should be playing more attacking football.
Manchester United crashed out of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night following a penalty shootout defeat against Derby, in which Pogba was one of the many players rested.

The rift between the two seems to be growing and video footage emerged from Manchester United’s training earlier this morning, which showed the differences between the two.
The midfielder enthusiastically joined training, but his smile was wiped off soon, following a few words from Mourinho and it seemed to have shocked the Frenchman.
The Manchester United manager and Pogba continued to exchange words for the next few seconds as the midfielder looked increasingly incensed by something Mourinho said.
With their differences coming out in the open, it remains to be seen what the Manchester United board do to mediate between the two in the coming days.
