Coutinho, 31, joined Aston Villa from Barcelona permanently last year following a loan spell at Villa Park during the 2021/22 season.

He witnessed his last season at the Birmingham outfit marred by injuries and a lack of form, and the Brazilian was involved in only 20 Premier League outings with the Villans.

Now Aston Villa are eyeing reorganising their ranks ahead of next season and Coutinho could leave Villa Park this summer.

The Brazilian winger has already had suitors in the shape of Besiktas, with the Turkish outfit keen to sign the player on a loan deal with an option to buy.

Besiktas have already thought of a structure for the potential deal as according to Turkish outlet Skorer, the Super Lig giants want to pay 40 per cent of Coutinho’s salary if their move for the Brazilian fructifies this summer.

It is also claimed that Besiktas want to put in a €8m purchase option in the deal for Coutinho and negotiations are ongoing between the two outfits for the attacker.

Aston Villa have already dug deep into the transfer market and have successfully roped in Youri Tielemans besides releasing ten players.

It remains to be seen now whether Besiktas will be able to strike a deal with Unai Emery’s side for Coutinho.
