Bryan Gil is prepared to fight for a regular spot in the Tottenham Hotspur side if he cannot either move permanently this month or on a loan which includes a purchase option.

Fringe Spurs star Gil is again attracting interest with the transfer window open, with Fiorentina and Feyenoord two sides credited with being keen.

He also has interest from Spanish side Real Sociedad, who are prepared to make a real push to land him this month.

However, according to Spanish daily Estadio Deportivo, while Gil would not be against joining Real Sociedad, he does not want to leave Tottenham on another simple loan deal.

Gil is only prepared to consider a permanent exit or a loan that has a purchase option, after growing tired of temporary moves; he wants any interested side to show they want him long term.

If neither arrive then the winger is prepared to focus on Tottenham and fight hard to command a regular spot in Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Real Sociedad are increasingly focusing on signing Gil, but whether they would be able to agree a deal which the winger finds acceptable remains to be seen.

It is claimed that if Tottenham are to agree to sell Gil then they would be looking for a fee of between €7m and €8m.
