Galatasaray vice president Erden Timur has met Nottingham Forest star Serge Aurier to understand his situation at the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest signed the right-back on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 and he quickly established himself as a regular in the Tricky Trees starting line-up.
This season, Aurier featured in 12 league games before suffering a calf injury in December and he is currently with the Ivory Coast national team.
The 31-year-old has attracted interest from Turkish outfit Galatasaray, who want to sign him in the current transfer window.
It has been suggested that Nottingham Forest are willing to evaluate offers for the right-back.
And according to Turkish outlet Sport Digitale, the Galatasaray vice president met with Aurier to understand his conditions for a move to Turkey in the current window.
Aurier’s contract with Nottingham Forest is set to expire in June 2024 and the Premier League outfit are at risk of losing him on a free transfer in the summer.
Now all eyes will be on Aurier to see whether the Ivory Coast international will leave the City Ground in the ongoing window.
