Manchester United pulled out a deal to sign a goalkeeper last week following discovering a problem following a medical, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

 

The Premier League giants are yet to sign someone this summer but are prioritising bringing in a centre-back, midfielder and a forward.

 

Talks are ongoing for several potential targets and major moves are expected to happen in the next few weeks.

 

 

However, the club came to close to signing someone last week as a young goalkeeper was set to join Manchester United.

 

But the Premier League giants pulled out of the move after the unnamed goalkeeper looked set for the transfer.

 

 

Manchester United discovered a minor back problem following a medical and decided against signing him.

 

The highly-rated young goalkeeper was expected to join and would have slotted into the pecking order in the first team.

 

 

Manchester United are looking to bring in a new goalkeeper as number 2 Altay Bayindir is expected to leave the club this summer.
