Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are still looking to investigate whether Samu Omorodion’s proposed transfer to Stamford Bridge is completely off.

The two clubs had an agreement in place for the Spanish striker to join Chelsea in the ongoing transfer window.

He was even in London to complete the formalities of the transfer, but Chelsea tried to make last-minute changes to the deal and the Spaniard took a flight back to Madrid on Sunday.

It was suggested on Sunday night that the deal to take the 20-year-old striker to Chelsea was off.

However, according to Spanish outlet Relevo, the two clubs are still not sure that is the case.

It has been claimed that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are trying to work out if the deal can be revived.

They are still trying to figure out if Omorodion’s proposed transfer to Chelsea is 100 per cent off.

Conor Gallagher’s move to Atletico Madrid is also hanging by a threat and neither of the two clubs want that deal to fall through.

Joao Felix is a name that Chelsea are considering signing as part of the deal for Gallagher if Omorodion does not join.
