The Leeds United clash on Friday evening in the Championship has been dubbed ‘very important’ by a Sheffield United star, who insists there is nothing the Blades cannot handle.

Chris Wilder has won plaudits for his work rebuilding the Sheffield United squad over the summer and getting the Blades ready to fight for an immediate return to the Premier League.

Sheffield United face a real test of their promotion ambitions this Friday night when they head to take on Leeds at Elland Road in the Championship.

Leeds are considered to be red hot promotion contenders and only missed out on going up last term when they lost in the playoff final.

For Sheffield United winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, there is no doubt that Leeds represent a ‘very important’ match.

However, the loan star insists there is nothing in the Championship that the Blades cannot handle.

“We know we’ve got to come back sharp because we’ve got a very important game against Leeds”, Rak-Sakyi told his club’s media.

“We know we can only focus on the next game and who’s in front of us and we don’t want to look too far ahead.

“We just want to take each game as it comes and obviously we’ve got some tough fixtures coming up but there is nothing that we can’t handle and aren’t ready for.”

Sheffield United have won two of their last three visits to Elland Road, but did lose the last encounter at the ground, 2-1.
